Russia: Germany's closure of our consulate in Bonn is an 'absurd decision' - Sarmad

The Kremlin said on Thursday that Germany is adopting an inconsistent and absurd stance by choosing to close the Russian consulate in Bonn, a decision made by Berlin following an incident involving a drone at Leipzig/Halle airport.

The measures taken by Germany also included the closure of a Russian cultural center in Berlin and the Russian consulate in Bonn.

Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Germany on Tuesday of fabricating evidence to hold Moscow responsible for the incident.
