Trump: New campaign on Iran will not last long - Sarmad

(Royters) – U.S. President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the new American campaign against Iran would not last long, following the largest exchange of fire between the two countries since July.

Trump told reporters at the White House that Iran had been trying to build a missile that drops mines, but the United States had destroyed it.

He noted that Iran was working to restore its radar and missile systems, which were also targeted in the U.S. strikes.

The U.S. president said, “We destroyed all the new equipment they tried to build near the Strait of Hormuz, some defensive and some offensive... It was a very heavy attack last night, and we are ready to launch another attack whenever we wish.”
