«Al-Shaoun» Announces Dissolution of One Public Benefit Association After Completing Legal Procedures - Sarmad

The Ministry of Social Affairs announced the issuance of a decision to dissolve one of the public benefit associations, in accordance with the ministry’s mandate to supervise and monitor such associations, and in compliance with the provisions of the laws and regulations governing civil society work.

The ministry clarified that the decision came after completing the prescribed legal and administrative procedures, and following the review and assessment of the association’s status by the competent authorities, ensuring the application of legal provisions and the preservation of institutional integrity.

The ministry reaffirmed its continued oversight of public benefit associations and its commitment to taking necessary measures in accordance with the law, thereby reinforcing compliance with relevant legislation and regulations and safeguarding the objectives for which civil society institutions were established.

It further noted that the procedures resulting from the dissolution will be completed in accordance with applicable legal provisions and related regulatory decisions.
