Egypt: Iranian attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan... a dangerous escalation - Sarmad

Egypt condemned in the strongest terms the Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, which constitute a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of these states, and represent a serious escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region and endangers their populations.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed full solidarity with the sister Arab states, reaffirming its absolute rejection of any aggression that undermines their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The ministry emphasized that Egypt had repeatedly warned of the dangers of renewed combat operations and their serious repercussions on the security and integrity of sister states and on freedom of international navigation. It stressed that continuing this path of escalation leads only to a vicious cycle of confrontation and instability, thereby threatening regional and international security.

Egypt reiterated its call for an immediate halt to military escalation, for exercising maximum restraint, and for adherence to the principles of international law and rules of good neighborliness, respect for state sovereignty, and prioritizing dialogue and diplomatic channels.
