Administrative Court: The Disability Authority Cannot Cancel Certificates Solely Upon Re-evaluation - Sarmad

Lawyer Jasem Al-Abduli stated that the Administrative Court issued a ruling annulling the decision of the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities to reject the renewal of a disability certificate for a Kuwaiti national.

Al-Abduli clarified that the ruling affirmed that the acquired legal status of persons with disabilities cannot be undermined merely through reassessment, unless it is proven that the individual’s condition has medically improved or that the certificate was obtained through fraud or deception.
