Deputy Minister of Health Inspects Duties at Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Center for Chemical Defense and Radiation Monitoring - Sarmad

Deputy Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah toured the facilities and capabilities of the “Her Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali” Center for Chemical Defense and Radiation Monitoring at the National Guard on Tuesday, assessing its role in monitoring and tracking radiation levels and hazardous materials.
The National Guard stated in a press release that this visit was made by Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah, accompanied by Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Affairs Dr. Al-Mundhir Al-Hasawi. They were received by Acting Commander of Military and Security Affairs Brigadier General Abdullah Saleh, and Director of the Medical Services Directorate Brigadier General Engineer Mohammed Ali.
The National Guard added that during the visit, the Deputy Minister of Health received a briefing on the center’s missions and national role, through monitoring stations covering the territory of Kuwait and its territorial waters.
Brigadier General Abdullah Saleh conveyed greetings from the National Guard leadership to the visiting delegation, emphasizing the importance of exchanging visits and enhancing cooperation and coordination among state institutions in areas related to health, safety, and prevention of chemical and radiation risks.
According to the statement, the National Guard affirmed its continued performance of its duties in chemical defense and radiation monitoring, in collaboration with relevant authorities and through the exchange of expertise with the Ministry of Health.
