Al-Yousef: Supporting the development process and enhancing the level of work at the Criminal Evidence Department - Sarmad

The Ministry of Interior stated that the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, conducted an inspection visit to the General Administration of Criminal Evidence to review the progress of operations, performance levels, and key technical and technological developments, as part of His Excellency’s commitment to monitoring and enhancing the work system across all sectors of the Ministry of Interior.

He was received by the Head of the Criminal Security Affairs Sector, Brigadier General Fahad Mohammed Al-Badr, the Director General of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence, Brigadier General Abdul Rahim Mohammed Al-Awadi, his deputy, Brigadier General Mubarak Badr Al-Risha, and several department directors and their assistants.

During the visit, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef listened to a welcoming address delivered by the Director General of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence, who outlined the administration’s aspirations and plans to continue development and improve work standards. He also viewed a visual presentation on the role of artificial intelligence in the criminal justice field and its applications in identity verification and forgery detection.

He also conducted an inspection tour covering several departments and laboratories, during which he reviewed the nature of work, the procedures for processing, and the specialized technical services provided by the administration.

At the conclusion of the visit, he issued several directives supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of work standards, aimed at strengthening performance efficiency, improving result accuracy, and bolstering the security system.
