Bashizakian: Iran will respond in kind if the US adheres to the interim agreement - Sarmad

The Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) quoted Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Bishkek as saying that Iran would respond in kind immediately if the United States returns to its commitments under the interim agreement signed in June.
Earlier, the Iranian president had stressed that “Tehran is still seeking a negotiated solution to its dispute with the United States,” following renewed clashes between the two countries.
Speaking to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the SCO summit, he said that continuing the war was not in the interest of any party, and that dialogue and cooperation were the way to resolve existing problems.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump vowed to continue striking Iran with force, describing it as a “failed state.”
