Kuwait Decides the Classic with a Winning Goal in Al-Qadsia's Net in the Zain League - Sarmad

(KUNA) – Kuwait FC defeated Al-Qadsia 1-0 today, Monday, in the climax of the second round of the Zain League Premier Division for the 2026/2027 sports season.

Neither team managed to score in the first half. With the start of the second half, the title holders, Kuwait, pressed their hosts, Al-Qadsia, in an effort to break down their defense. As time passed, Kuwait increased the pressure on Al-Qadsia’s goal until the 91st minute, when Mohammed Marhoon scored the winning goal for Kuwait, securing the three points for his team.

With this victory, Kuwait moved up to four points from one draw and one win, while Al-Qadsia remained on their previous tally of three points from one win and one loss.

The second round of competitions will conclude tomorrow, Tuesday, with two matches: Kazma versus Sahel, and Salima versus Al-Tadamun.
