Axios: Trump explores limited strikes near Hormuz - Sarmad

Axios, citing U.S. officials, reported that President Donald Trump and his senior aides are considering the option of carrying out limited strikes in the Strait of Hormuz to prevent Iran from rebuilding its radar and missile capabilities, which it could use to attack ships.

The site noted that U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth endorsed a plan for limited strikes against Iran and submitted it to the White House several days ago.

According to officials, these discussions are part of the U.S. administration’s review of options aimed at preventing Iran from restoring its military capabilities capable of targeting ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
