Kuwait Condemns Israeli Official’s Incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque Under Protection of Occupation Forces - Sarmad

(KUNA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and rejection of the incursion by an Israeli occupation official, accompanied by groups of extremist settlers, into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound under the protection of occupation forces, in violation of international law and as a provocation of Muslim sentiments.
In a statement issued today, Monday, the Foreign Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s firm rejection of all attempts to alter the historical and legal status quo at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, emphasizing the necessity for the international community to fulfill its responsibilities to halt these repeated violations.
Kuwait reiterated its steadfast position supporting the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people’s right to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, within the June 4, 1967 borders.
