Google Enhances Search Engine with Smart Features for Tracking Flight Prices and Booking Hotels - Sarmad

Google announced the addition of new features to the “AI Mode” service in its search engine, enabling users to track flight ticket prices, compare travel and hotel costs, and leverage reward points and miles, alongside the ability to book hotels directly through the service.
According to the tech website TechCrunch, the new update allows users to input their travel destination and date, prompting “AI Mode” to display available flight options and prices from more than 300 airlines and travel websites. Users can also activate price tracking and receive email alerts when prices change.
The company also added the ability to view flight and hotel prices using reward points or miles, based on updated data provided by partner organizations. The partner list at launch includes multiple airlines and hotel chains.
The new feature allows users to book hotels directly through “AI Mode” after specifying preferences and comparing options based on guest ratings and other factors. Users can then select a room, review cancellation policies, and complete payment via Google Pay.
Notably, the flight price tracking feature is currently available in more than 180 countries and regions. Google is working to expand travel-related services within its search engine, a move aimed at enhancing the role of artificial intelligence in facilitating trip planning and booking travel services.
