Iran: Diplomacy and defense are inseparable, and we will counter US sanctions - Sarmad

The Iranian government pledged on Saturday to stand firmly against U.S. sanctions and what it described as American-Israeli conspiracies, emphasizing that diplomacy and defense are “integrated and coordinated tools that are inseparable” in safeguarding the country’s national interests and regional security and stability.

In a statement published by state media, the government said it would pursue both approaches simultaneously, focusing on curbing inflation, creating jobs, supporting local production, and gradually reducing dependence on the U.S. dollar.
