US President: We signed with Venezuela the "largest" oil deal in history - Sarmad

US President Donald Trump announced that his country has signed an oil agreement with Venezuela that he described as “the largest in history,” adding that it would secure what he termed US “control” over Venezuela’s oil reserves.

Trump stated in a post on his platform, Truth Social, that “the agreement will secure majority US control over more than 65 billion barrels of proven oil reserves in Venezuela, at no cost to American taxpayers.”

He clarified that the “historic” deal would more than double US oil reserves and significantly boost American oil supplies.

He added that the agreement would lead to a noticeable reduction in fuel prices for all Americans for an extended period in the future, in exchange for US assistance in placing Venezuela on a path toward “tremendous success and great prosperity.”

Trump emphasized that the agreement resulted from “close” work with Venezuela’s interim president, Delcy Rodriguez, and through a partnership with the private sector, noting that it would strengthen the growing relationship between the two countries.
