Ambassador Al-Mashaan Meets His Counterparts and the Secretary General of the OIC in Jeddah - Sarmad

(KUNA) — Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan met individually in Jeddah with Fatoumata Jalloh, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Expatriates of the friendly Republic of Guinea-Bissau, and Humaun Kabir, State Minister for External Affairs of the friendly People’s Republic of Bangladesh, as well as Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release on Friday that these meetings took place on the sidelines of the 23rd Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation member states, held at the OIC General Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah, to discuss developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.
It added that during Ambassador Al-Mushaan’s meeting with Ms. Jalloh, the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries were reviewed, and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields were discussed.
Similarly, during his meeting with Mr. Kabir, the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries were reviewed, and ways to strengthen and develop them in various sectors were discussed, along with an exchange of views on issues of mutual concern.
During his meeting with Mr. Ahmed, Ambassador Al-Mushaan congratulated him on his election as Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, wishing him success and prosperity in carrying out his duties. He also reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to continuing its support for the Organisation and enhancing its role in serving the causes of the Islamic world.
