«Interior Ministry»: 221 individuals apprehended and 790 traffic violations recorded in Al-Mahbula - Sarmad

The Ministry of Interior stated that the General Directorate of Emergency Police conducted an extensive security operation in the Al-Mahbula area of the Ahmadi Governorate, targeting the apprehension of violators and wanted individuals and enforcing the law, as part of ongoing field efforts to enhance security.

The operation took place in the presence of the Ahmadi Governor, Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad, under the direct supervision of the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Brigadier General Hamad Al-Munifi, and the Head of the Traffic and Operations Sector, Colonel Haqqooqi Ahmed Fahad Al-Azmi.

The operation resulted in the recording of 790 traffic violations, the apprehension of 109 wanted individuals in connection with criminal and security cases, the detention of 62 individuals for expired residency permits, the detention of 31 individuals without proof of identity, the detention of 11 individuals in abnormal conditions, the apprehension of 8 individuals for possession of narcotics and alcoholic beverages, and the seizure of 9 wanted vehicles.

The Ministry emphasized that all necessary legal measures have been taken against all apprehended individuals, who have been referred to the competent authorities.
