Syria: Man and his child killed in hand grenade explosion outside Justice Palace in Al-Hasakah - Sarmad

A man and his child were killed on Friday following a hand grenade explosion outside the Justice Palace in the city of Al-Hasakah, in north-eastern Syria.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted a security source as saying the explosion occurred at around 9:30 a.m. Khalid Al-Khalid, the director of health in Al-Hasakah, stated that the ambulance service received a man in his thirties and a 13-year-old child, both of whom later died from their injuries.

Al-Khalid added that the identities of the deceased have not yet been established, as neither possessed any identification documents.
