Foreign Minister Discusses with His British Counterpart Efforts to Enhance Regional Security - Sarmad

(KUNA) – Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad held a telephone conversation today, Thursday, with British Foreign Secretary and Minister for the Commonwealth and Development, the friendly United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland’s Ed Miliband.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that Sheikh Jaraah Al-Sabah, at the outset of the call, congratulated Minister Miliband on assuming his new post, wishing him success and achievement in his duties.
It noted that the call also reviewed the historic ties between the two friendly countries and ways to support and strengthen them across various fields, alongside discussions on the latest regional developments and diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region and ensuring the safety and freedom of maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
