Nizahah Outlines Its Initiatives in Leveraging Technology to Combat Corruption at International Meeting in Vienna - Sarmad

(KUNA) – The Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nizaha) presented its experience as a keynote speaker at a panel discussion on leveraging technology in the fight against corruption, organized by the Global Anti-Corruption Enforcement Network on the sidelines of the Seventh Session of the General Assembly held in Austria.

In a press release, Nizaha stated that Darri Buayyab, Observer for International Organizations and Conferences, highlighted the key technological tools developed internally by the Authority, as well as the electronic corruption reporting service via the government “Sahl” application. This service ensures confidentiality and privacy for whistleblowers, enables them to track the status of their reports, and allows them to upload additional documents at any time, while providing all necessary legal protections.

The presentation outlined the steps for submitting and following up on reports, emphasizing certain conditions that must be met, such as ensuring that the reported offense constitutes a corruption crime under the law establishing the Authority, and that supporting documents demonstrating the seriousness of the report are provided.
