Arab League warns of worsening humanitarian crisis in Palestine - Sarmad

The Arab League warned on Wednesday of the worsening humanitarian crisis and the undermining of protection standards guaranteed by international humanitarian law, as well as the erosion of confidence in the effectiveness of the international system, due to the continued violations by the Israeli occupation in the occupied Palestinian territories.

This came in a statement by the Arab League on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Israeli airstrike on Al-Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom of five Palestinian journalists. The statement added that the continuation of these violations reflects the persistence of policies and practices that endanger civilians and media workers.
