Broad security operation in "the Capital" results in the arrest of wanted individuals and violators, and the closure of a restaurant - Sarmad

The Directorate of Security Affairs, represented by the Capital Governorate Security Directorate, carried out an extensive security campaign covering several areas of the governorate, in coordination with the Kuwait Municipality and the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition. The operation resulted in the arrest of several wanted individuals and lawbreakers, the seizure of vehicles, and the issuance of traffic violations.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Interior said the detailed statistics included the arrest of 187 individuals in criminal cases, absconding cases, and violations of the residency and labor laws, as well as wanted persons; 23 individuals under judicial detention; and four individuals whose visas had expired.

Three street vendors were arrested, one person was found in an abnormal condition, two individuals were arrested in begging-related cases, and four individuals were detained for not carrying final identification documents.

The operation also included the impoundment of 10 motorcycles at the traffic garage, the issuance of 445 traffic violations, the removal of 19 abandoned vehicles in cooperation with the Kuwait Municipality, and the closure of one restaurant in coordination with the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition.

Legal and administrative procedures were taken against all violators, in preparation for referring them to the competent authorities.
