Ministry of Commerce: Closure of two health institutes in Salmiya and a clothing and accessories store - Sarmad

The emergency team of the Al-Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorates at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in coordination and cooperation with the Ministry of Interior represented by the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate Criminal Investigation Department, swiftly seized and shut down two health institutes in the Salmiya area for violating the provisions of Ministerial Decision No. 32 of 2026, which prohibits cash transactions for certain activities, in addition to identifying other violations related to the establishments.

Meanwhile, the inspection control unit of the Capital Governorate seized a premises containing 322 pieces of clothing, accessories, and shoes bearing counterfeit global brand trademarks. It was found that the violator was displaying these counterfeit goods to consumers and selling them as authentic products. Consequently, the seized items were confiscated, the offending premises were immediately shut down, and a commercial fraud violation was issued.

All prescribed legal measures have been taken against the violators.
