GCC Secretary General Discusses Updates on the Free Trade Agreement with South Korea's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia - Sarmad

(KUNA) — Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Al-Bedaiwi held talks today, Sunday, with Shin Chol Kang, South Korea’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, on Gulf-Korean relations and the latest developments regarding the signing of a free trade agreement between the GCC and South Korea.

The GCC Secretariat General stated in a press release that the meeting took place during Al-Bedaiwi’s reception of the South Korean ambassador at the Secretariat’s headquarters in Riyadh.

It added that the two sides exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest, as well as developments in the region and international and regional efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability. Al-Bedaiwi expressed his welcome to Ambassador Shin Chol Kang, wishing him success in carrying out the duties of his new post.
