Justice: 154 properties traded over two weeks for KD 92.2 million - Sarmad

Statistics released today by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice showed that 154 real estate contracts were traded during the week from August 9 to 13, with a total value of approximately 92.2 million dinars.

The statistics, published on the ministry’s website, indicated that private real estate contracts led the way with 101 contracts valued at 36.2 million dinars, followed by investment real estate contracts in second place with 52 contracts valued at 36 million dinars, while commercial real estate transactions came in third with a single contract valued at 20 million dinars.

The statistics clarified that real estate contract transactions were distributed as follows: 11 private real estate contracts, one investment real estate contract, and one commercial real estate contract in the Capital Governorate. Meanwhile, 19 private real estate contracts and nine investment contracts were traded in Hawalli Governorate, while Farwaniya Governorate saw the trading of 11 private real estate contracts and three investment contracts.

It added that Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate witnessed eight private real estate contracts, while Ahmadi Governorate saw the trading of 39 private real estate contracts and 39 investment contracts. Al-Jahra Governorate, on the other hand, recorded 13 private real estate contracts.
