Chief of Staff Chairs the Annual Meeting of the Kuwaiti-U.S. Joint Military Commission - Sarmad

The Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, and Michael Dimeño, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Middle East and Central Asia, presided over the annual meeting of the Kuwait-U.S. Joint Military Commission (JMC), held at the U.S. Department of Defense headquarters (the Pentagon).
The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces said in a statement on Saturday that the meeting included a series of workshops for participating teams from both sides, during which joint cooperation in the fields of maintenance and training was reviewed.
It added that a memorandum of understanding for strategic partnership with the National Guard in Maryland was signed during the meeting.
The statement noted that a high-level delegation of senior commanding officers from the Kuwaiti Armed Forces accompanied Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan.
