The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office issued an update to its travel advice for British nationals visiting Kuwait, lifting its previous warning against travel to the country due to regional tensions.
The UK Foreign Office maintained its warnings regarding security developments in the region, noting that the situation in the Middle East “remains unpredictable,” with risks associated with the possibility of new attacks or unexpected escalation.
The UK Foreign Office emphasized that British citizens in the Middle East should be prepared for the potential cancellation of flights or periodic closure of airspace, as well as possible disruptions to travel movements.
