Interior Ministry: Registration begins for the Non-Commissioned Officer Course (Corporal Rank) for Secondary School Graduates - Sarmad

The Ministry of Interior announced that the Education and Training Sector will open registration to receive applications from individuals wishing to enroll in the third cohort of the Non-Commissioned Officer Cadets Course (Ranks of Corporal) for holders of secondary school certificates at the Non-Commissioned Officers Institute affiliated with the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences, during the period from Sunday, August 23, 2026, until the required number of places for the course is filled.
The Sector also announced the opening of registration to receive applications from women wishing to enroll in the course at the Women’s Police Institute affiliated with the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences during the same period.
The Education and Training Sector at the Ministry of Interior announced the opening of registration for those wishing to enroll in the third cohort of the Non-Commissioned Officer Cadets Course (Ranks of Corporal) for holders of secondary school certificates at the Non-Commissioned Officers Institute affiliated with the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences, during the period from Sunday, August 23, until the required number of places for the course is filled.
The Ministry of Interior announced in a statement the general conditions for registration, as follows:
1. The applicant must be a Kuwaiti national by birth, with a Kuwaiti father.
2. The applicant must have a good reputation and a clean moral record.
3. The applicant must not have previously been convicted of a felony, or of a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude or breach of trust.
4. The applicant must not have previously been dismissed from government service by a final judicial ruling or disciplinary decision.
5. The applicant must not have previously been dismissed disciplinarily from any educational institution within the Academy or from any other educational entity.
6. The applicant must pass the height and weight assessment.
7. The applicant must pass the initial medical examination as determined by the competent authority within the Ministry of Interior.
8. The applicant must pass the general knowledge, aptitude, and psychological tests.
9. The applicant must pass the physical fitness tests.
An applicant will be deemed unfit if they score less than 60% of the total marks allocated for each test, and will be excluded from continuing with the remaining tests if they fail to achieve the required percentage in any given test.
10. The applicant must pass the personal interview.
11. A lottery system will be used to determine accepted candidates in case the number of applicants who meet the admission conditions stated in this announcement exceeds the required number for each course or specialization.
12. The applicant must pass the advanced medical examination according to the standards outlined in the Ministerial Decision regarding the health fitness requirements for regular service in the Police Force.
