The price of Bitcoin surged sharply in Friday’s trading, surpassing the $77,000 threshold for the first time since May 26.
According to data from Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, Bitcoin’s price rose by 8.26% by 11:19 Moscow time, reaching $77,224.94.
This marks the first time the world’s most popular cryptocurrency has exceeded the $77,000 level since May 26, 2026.
Data from CoinMarketCap, which calculates the average price across more than 20 trading platforms, showed Bitcoin climbing 8.22% to an average of $77,163.43.
