Iraqi Prime Minister: I will not run for a second term, nor will I back down from the fight against corruption - Sarmad

Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zoubi confirmed on Friday that his government is pursuing new routes for exporting Iraqi oil through the Turkish port of Ceyhan, rather than the Strait of Hormuz.
The Iraqi prime minister clarified that his government is also working to export oil via Baniyas in Syria and Aqaba in Jordan.
Al-Zoubi added in his speech at the conference: “I have committed myself not to run for a second term, and the results of our reform programs will be harvested by future governments.” He continued, “We are thinking less about forming a government and more about building the state and the economy. Iraq has the opportunities, resources, and willpower to overcome challenges.”
He stressed that there is no retreat from the fight against corruption, and that the government enjoys broad support from political forces.
