Kuwaiti Mohammed Al-Kandari appointed president and owner of English club Andover - Sarmad

Kuwaiti youth Mohammed Al-Kandari, aged 28, announced the transfer of ownership of the English club Andover FC to himself and his assumption of the club’s presidency, following the completion of official contract signings, in a move that strengthens Kuwaiti presence in sports investment abroad.
Al-Kandari confirmed, in a video clip released after finalizing the deal, the start of a new phase in his investment and sports career, expressing his happiness at embarking on this experience and highlighting the importance of sharing the details of his journey with Arab audiences, as well as disseminating knowledge related to managing a football club in the English football system.
The transfer of club ownership to Al-Kandari will take effect in August 2026, following the club’s history in local competitions since its founding, marking a new era of ambitions under Kuwaiti management aimed at development and progress in English football.
Through this new experience, Al-Kandari aims to enhance Kuwaiti presence in overseas sports investment and leverage the English experience in managing and developing sports clubs.
