US $22.3 Million Deal to Protect Middle East Energy Facilities from Drones - Sarmad

Power U.S., the American manufacturer of drones and radars, announced on Thursday that it has signed a commercial contract worth $22.3 million to supply counter-drone technologies aimed at protecting oil and gas infrastructure in the Middle East.
The company stated that it will deploy an integrated system for detection, tracking, identification, and early warning against drones, thereby providing operators with a unified view of potential aerial threats, according to Reuters on Thursday, August 20.
Unified Operations Center
Power U.S. confirmed that the system will operate through a command and control center at the client’s operations headquarters, enabling comprehensive threat management.

This move comes amid escalating security risks to oil and gas facilities in the Middle East, as companies seek to bolster their defensive capabilities against unconventional aerial attacks.
