Food Authority: 42 seizure and violation reports issued against food establishments in Hawalli Governorate - Sarmad

(KUNA) – The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, represented by the inspection department of Hawalli Governorate, conducted an inspection tour of several food establishments in the governorate, resulting in the issuance of 42 violation and seizure reports. These violations included expired health licenses, non-compliance with health certificates for workers, and breaches of health and general hygiene standards, as well as the unlicensed transport of food items.

The Authority stated in a press release that food samples were taken and sent to the laboratory to verify their safety and suitability for human consumption.

The Authority emphasized that it continues its supervisory tours to safeguard the health and safety of consumers.
