Estimates: North Korea Possesses Up to 120 Nuclear Warheads - Sarmad

South Korean Defense Minister Ahn Gyu-byeok said on Thursday that his country’s estimates indicate that North Korea possesses between 80 and 120 nuclear warheads, a range significantly higher than the 57 nuclear weapons claimed by U.S. President Donald Trump to be in Pyongyang’s arsenal.

The minister noted that determining the exact number remains extremely difficult.

Speaking before a parliamentary committee, he said, “Our estimates consistently suggest that North Korea possesses between 80 and 120 nuclear warheads, but it is extremely difficult to determine the precise number.”
