Barcelona wins Joan Gamper Trophy with 2-1 victory over Al Ahly Egyptian - Sarmad

In a friendly match with an official tone, the Spanish club Barcelona defeated their Egyptian guests, Al Ahly, by a score of 2–1. The match took place today, Wednesday, at the Spotify Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona, as part of the Joan Gamper Cup friendly tournament.

The game witnessed a large crowd and tactical competitiveness between the Spanish champions and the African champions, before Barcelona secured the advantage with two first-half goals, while Al Ahly narrowed the deficit at the start of the second half.

Barcelona player and former Al Ahly player Hamza Abdel-Karim scored the opening goal in the 30th minute against goalkeeper Mustafa Shoubir. Raphinha added a second goal in the 45th minute with a powerful shot. In the 51st minute, Ahmed Sayed Zizo scored Al Ahly’s first goal, making the score 2–1.
