Chief of General Staff Discusses with His American Counterpart the Development of Joint Cooperation - Sarmad

(KUNA) – Kuwait Army Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Khalid Al-Sharhan held talks today, Wednesday, with U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine on ways to develop joint military cooperation between the two sides.

The Kuwait Army General Staff Office stated in a press release that the meeting took place during Lt. Gen. Al-Sharhan’s encounter with his counterpart, Gen. Caine, at the U.S. Department of Defense building (the Pentagon), as part of his official visit to the United States.

It added that the bilateral relations were reviewed during the meeting, and existing strategic partnerships were discussed along with ways to strengthen them in the interest of shared objectives.

Both sides also addressed efforts aimed at enhancing regional security and stability.
