Syria: Israeli military force penetrates Quneitra countryside and detains two young men - Sarmad

An Israeli military force penetrated the town of Jabata al-Khashab in the countryside of Quneitra, northern Syria, in the early hours of Wednesday, arresting two young men during raids on several homes before withdrawing from the area, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The force comprised more than 100 soldiers and approximately 15 military vehicles, and escorted the two young men to one of its positions in the Jabata al-Khashab reserve. Later, the Syrian News Agency reported that one of them had been released.

The incursion comes a day after Israeli forces shelled the Yarmouk Basin area in the western countryside of Daraa with artillery shells.
