Kuwait condemns Israeli occupation airstrikes on Abu al-Dhahur military airport in Idlib governorate, Syria - Sarmad

(KUNA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and strong disapproval of the Israeli occupation’s airstrikes that targeted Abu al-Dhaher military airport in the Idlib Governorate of the Syrian Arab Republic, in violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and as an escalation that threatens to undermine regional security and stability.
In a statement issued today, Tuesday, the Ministry called on the international community and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities to halt the repeated Israeli occupation attacks on Syrian territory and to ensure respect for the rules of international law and the United Nations Charter.
It reaffirmed the State of Kuwait’s firm position supporting the sovereignty, territorial integrity, security, and stability of the Syrian Arab Republic.
