Qalibaf: Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until the US complies with the terms of the interim agreement - Sarmad

Iran’s chief negotiator and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said the Strait of Hormuz would remain closed until the United States complies with the terms of the interim agreement.

The memorandum of understanding signed on June 17 last year expired yesterday, Monday, amid stalled efforts to reach an agreement between Washington and Tehran.
