Al-Hawail Inspects the Authority for People with Disabilities to Follow Up on Digital Transformation Services - Sarmad

(KUNA) — Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, Social Development, and Family, conducted an inspection visit today, Sunday, to the Public Authority for Persons with Disabilities to review ongoing operations and follow up on various files and issues related to services provided to persons with disabilities.

Minister Al-Huwail stated in a press statement that the visit is part of continuous field follow-up aimed at enhancing the level of services provided by the Authority, addressing observations, and overcoming challenges to meet the aspirations of beneficiaries. She emphasized the importance of completing required preparations and ensuring the readiness of facilities to provide more efficient and accessible services for persons with disabilities and their families.

She added that the visit included a review of the latest developments in the mechanization and digital transformation project, as well as efforts to develop electronic services, streamline procedures, and expedite the processing of clients’ transactions.

She further clarified that she monitored the readiness of the measurement room at the Authority’s branch in the Salwa area to assess the necessary preparations and arrangements for its operation, which will contribute to providing a suitable environment for delivering measurement and assessment services.
