Israeli forces penetrate the countryside of Quneitra in Syria - Sarmad

The Syrian Al-Akhbariya channel reported that Israeli forces infiltrated the town of Al-Rafid in the Quneitra countryside, southern Syria, on the night of Sunday, carrying out a raid and search operation that targeted several homes.

This incursion comes amid Tel Aviv’s continued violations of Syrian sovereignty.

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa had previously condemned the ongoing Israeli violations that undermine the security of the entire region, calling on Israel to withdraw from the territories it has occupied in southern Syria.

For months, southern Syria has witnessed repeated Israeli incursions and attacks, including raids, searches, and arrests, alongside the establishment of military checkpoints.
