Ministry of Health Organizes Prescription, Dispensing, and Follow-up of Biological Treatments - Sarmad

The Ministry of Health issued a ministerial decision, published in the official gazette “Kuwait Today” in its Sunday edition, regarding the regulation of prescribing, dispensing, and monitoring biological treatments within the ministry.

The decision stipulates that biological treatments listed in the annexed biological treatments list shall be dispensed exclusively to Kuwaiti patients. Cases not covered by this provision may apply to receive a biological treatment in accordance with the mechanism outlined in Article Four of this decision.

The decision was communicated to all concerned parties for implementation and shall take effect three months after its issuance. Any prior decisions or provisions conflicting with its terms are hereby repealed, and the decision is to be published in the official gazette.
