Trump Accuses US Agency and Its Director of 'Treason': They Revealed Top-Secret Military Secrets - Sarmad

U.S. President Donald Trump accused an American organization and its former director of “treason” on Saturday, citing what he described as the disclosure of “top-secret military secrets” related to a security project near the White House.

In a post on his platform, Truth Social, Trump stated, “These are the traitors who filed the lawsuit against the military complex. They revealed top-secret military secrets.”

Trump directed his accusations at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, saying the name “sounds nice, but it is misleading,” and clarified that the organization is not a government agency, noting that the U.S. government had cut its funding in 2005 due to disagreements over its mission and objectives.

He added that the organization “has halted many worthwhile projects and harmed many others,” pointing out that in this instance, it was attempting to stop a project he described as “vital to national security and to the safety of all current and future U.S. presidents, their families, staff, and members of their administrations.”

Trump explained that the U.S. Armed Forces had asked the organization not to file the lawsuit because of the “top-secret nature” of the disputed facility, noting that senior military officers and leaders, along with the Secret Service, had briefed the organization’s officials on the project’s plans and detailed specifications.

Trump also attacked the former president of the Trust, Carol Quillen, who filed the lawsuit, claiming she “had no background in historic preservation” and was later replaced.

Trump alleged that the lawsuit could lead to the disclosure of “top-secret military features” of the facility, including what he described as “a drone airport covering the entire roof.”
