Emergency Police Conduct Security Campaign Across Various Governorates - Sarmad

The General Directorate of Emergency Police carried out a comprehensive security operation on Thursday across various governorates and regions of the country, as part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing efforts to enhance security and uphold the authority of the law. The operation targeted several areas, locations, and main and secondary roads, aiming to apprehend wanted individuals and violators, document offenses, and take necessary legal action against perpetrators, thereby contributing to the preservation of security and public order and enhancing the safety of citizens and residents.
In a statement, the Directorate said the operation resulted in the apprehension of 12 individuals whose identities were not officially confirmed, 27 violators of the residency law, and three individuals for possessing alcohol. Additionally, 1,300 traffic violations were recorded, 33 arrests were executed, and 26 violations related to “noisy vehicles” were documented. One individual was detained for possessing white weapons, while another was held by the Traffic Department. Furthermore, 26 vehicles were impounded for traffic violations.
