UAE: Abu Dhabi Ports Records Highest Quarterly Financial Results in Its History in Q2 - Sarmad

Abu Dhabi Ports Group announced its highest quarterly financial results in its history during the second quarter of the year, despite external challenges.

Group revenues for the second quarter of 2026 rose by 47% year-on-year to reach AED 7.08 billion (approximately $1.92 billion), driven by strong operational and financial performance in the maritime and shipping sector, the economic cities and free zones sector, and the logistics sector.

Group earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) for the second quarter of 2026 also increased by 49% year-on-year to AED 1.74 billion, reflecting an EBITDA margin of 24.5% for the quarter, compared to 24.2% in the same period last year. Meanwhile, total net profit for the second quarter of 2026 rose by 88% year-on-year to reach AED 836 million.

During the second quarter of 2026, Abu Dhabi Ports Group continued to enhance and expand its operations and establish multiple alternative multimodal trade corridors across the UAE, as part of the “National Program to Strengthen Supply Chain Resilience.” This contributed to mitigating the impact of navigation disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz on its clients and the UAE’s economic system, as well as the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) economies.
