Saudi Defense: Completion of operational arrangements to activate the Maritime Defense Coalition - Sarmad

The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that the Riyadh-led Maritime Defense Coalition has completed its operational arrangements to activate its multinational forces and command structure, paving the way for the integration of officers and personnel participating from member states into the joint command and staff structure, alongside the Joint Maritime Operations and Coordination Center and the Coalition Intelligence Center, thereby accelerating the development of its operational capabilities and enhancing its readiness to carry out its defensive missions within its area of responsibility.
This development came during the third planning meeting of the Multinational Maritime Defense Coalition (MMDCC), attended by representatives from 39 friendly and allied countries, marking a key step toward activating the coalition.
