“Gemini” Surpasses One Billion Users - Sarmad

The number of users of “Gemini” has surpassed one billion monthly active users, according to Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, following a week of comprehensive restructuring of the tech giant’s artificial intelligence division.

Pichai wrote on social media: “It is our fastest-growing product ever,” marking the fourteenth product to reach one billion users.

This milestone, calculated by Google based on the number of Gemini app users across its ecosystem, gives the search giant a victory amid a sweeping restructuring of its AI division.

Its flagship new model, “Gemini 3.5 Pro,” which was initially scheduled for launch last June, has not yet been released, while competitors have launched more powerful models, particularly in code generation, currently the most lucrative segment in the industry.
