The UNESCO Global Forum on AI Ethics is one of the most prominent international platforms dedicated to AI ethics. The world places high hopes on this edition to strengthen global dialogue on responsible AI governance, exchange expertise and best practices, and explore ways to harness AI technologies to contribute to sustainable development and enhance societal prosperity.
Over four days, the forum will discuss several key themes, including AI ethics and governance, capacity building, responsible innovation, and international policies, alongside showcasing the latest global initiatives and experiences in this field. These discussions will take place through high-level sessions and specialized workshops bringing together a select group of experts and policymakers from around the world.
Organizing the forum is an extension of the Kingdom’s efforts to consolidate the principles of AI ethics and strengthen its governance at both the national and international levels, and to support multilateral cooperation in developing frameworks for the responsible and reliable use of emerging technologies. These efforts align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and enhance the Kingdom’s position as an active partner in shaping the future of AI globally.
