Zakat House: Supporting 1,050 families through the animal sacrifice project within Kuwait embodies the values of solidarity - Sarmad

Kuwait’s Bayt al-Zakat confirmed on Tuesday that it has supported 1,050 families through its sacrificial animal project within Kuwait, as part of its efforts to strengthen social solidarity and deliver meat to those in need and their families across the country.

Acting Director General of Bayt al-Zakat, Dr. Majid Al-Azmi, told KUNA that the project is among the charitable initiatives implemented by Bayt al-Zakat to channel assistance to eligible families and enhance images of solidarity and compassion among members of society. He noted that the benefit these families derive from the project reflects the impact of donors’ contributions in meeting their needs and alleviating their burdens.

Al-Azmi clarified that Bayt al-Zakat is committed to promoting social solidarity through its various projects targeting eligible families within Kuwait, and ensures that donors’ contributions are directed to their designated purposes, thereby contributing to the continuity of these projects and the achievement of their humanitarian and social objectives.

He emphasized that the project embodies the noble values of giving and compassion that characterize donors, translating their commitment to extending a helping hand to eligible families, thereby strengthening the spirit of solidarity and making charitable work a bridge for connection and mutual support among different segments of society.

He added that donors can contribute to Bayt al-Zakat’s projects through its website, its mobile application, the Sahel app, Bayt al-Zakat’s pavilions at The Avenues Mall and 360 Mall, or through the organization’s voluntary centers, which operate from Sunday to Thursday.
