“Interior Ministry”: A Kuwaiti national arrested in Al-Doha for running a marijuana farm - Sarmad

The Ministry of Interior announced that the General Directorate for Combating Narcotics, represented by the International Combating Department, succeeded in arresting a citizen in the Doha area following surveillance and investigative operations that revealed his cultivation of marijuana and possession of narcotics for the purposes of trafficking and personal use.

In a statement posted on the “X” platform on Monday, the ministry said the arrest led to the seizure of 6 kilograms of marijuana, a quarter kilogram of hashish, tools used for cultivating marijuana, and a cash amount of 17,820 Kuwaiti dinars.

It added that the operation followed the completion of search and investigative procedures, which resulted in locating the farm, apprehending the suspect along with the narcotics and cultivation tools in his possession, as well as the seized cash.

The ministry confirmed that the suspect and the seized items have been referred to the competent authorities to take all necessary legal measures against him.
