Due to seatbelt.. Child's stubbornness cancels 'Canadian plane' trip - Sarmad

A Porter Airlines flight in Canada was canceled last week after a young child refused to sit down and fasten his seatbelt, forcing the plane to return to the runway and delaying it beyond the airport’s curfew.

The Toronto-based airline said that the parent and flight crew repeatedly tried, without success, to secure the child in his seat before returning the aircraft to the terminal at Victoria International Airport in British Columbia to disembark the parent and child.

Porter stated that removing the parent, child, and their luggage caused the flight to Toronto to be delayed past the airport’s curfew, forcing other passengers to deplane.

Porter apologized to the other passengers, whose flights were rebooked for the following day.
